Welcome to the MirrieDancers web site. MirrieDancers is a cross-generational project that fuses traditional crafts with new technologies. It is an innovative and inspiring project, conceived by artists Nayan Kulkarni and Roxane Permar and commissioned by Shetland Arts. Through this project local residents will help create light based art works for their locality and for a set of permanent installations at Mareel, Shetland's new Arts venue.

Our last illumination this winter was at the Auld Chapel, Longfield. The exhibition, Mirrie Lace, is currently at Bonhoga Gallery until 3rd July 2010.
